Encontra-se já tratada e disponível em linha a Coleção Martins e Máximo, produzida pela sociedade formada por Manuel Dominguez Martins e José Máximo da Costa, fotógrafos grandolenses ativos entre o final do séc. XIX e a década de 1940. A coleção, constituída por 2255 negativos em vidro e 101 negativos em película, contém retratos individuais e de grupo, fotografias da vila de Grândola, fotografias de paisagens do concelho e imagens de trabalho rural.

O projeto visou a higienização das espécies, a realização de operações de conservação e restauro, o acondicionamento em unidades de instalação apropriadas, a descrição, a digitalização e tratamento das provas, a identificação de personalidades e de locais, e a sua comunicação e divulgação.
